Monitoring of Problems and Obstacles Impeding the Development of Small Business in the Leningrad Region in the Manufacturing Sector

Methods and substance of research:  

Questionnaire for the survey to identify the status and trends of development, internal and external challenges and obstacles impending small business development in productive activities, was prepared.  Entrepreneurs of Leningrad region were surveyed and interviewed. The analysis of the state of small business in the industrial sector and impediments to its development in the Leningrad region was carried out.

Results of research:   

Recommendations concerning government measures aimed at solving problems and overcoming obstacles in the development of small business in the manufacturing sector were made.
