2009-02-26 :: Ceremony of Laying Flowers to Memorial Plaque of Wassily Leontief

On February 11, 2009 within VII Conference “Leontief Readings” it was held a ceremony of laying flowers to memorial plaque on the house at Zhdanovskaya Street 43 where Wassily Leontief, well-known economist, Nobel Prize Winner in Economics, Founder of Leontief Centre, had been living in 1906-1925. 

The ceremony was dedicated to 10th anniversary of the death of Wassily Leontief.

The ceremony was attended by the Director-General of ICSER Leontief Centre Irina Karelina; Deputy Head of Administration of Petrogradsky District N.S. Solomahina; Member of Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the State Research Institution "Council for Study of Productive Forces" B.M. Granberg; Leontief Medal Laureate "For Achievements in Economy" 2004, Professor, Institute for Economic Research (Japan) Masaaki Kuboniva; Director of Economics and Mathematics Institute, RAS L.A. Ruhovets; Director-Coordinator of Research Programs of ICSER Leontief Centre Leonid Limonov; Historian, Biographer of Wassily Leontief - S.A. Kalyadina.
